Today a meeting of the Board of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS took place. The Deputy Director for Science and Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute, opening the event with a minute of silence, honored the memory of the soldiers who died for ensuring our territorial integrity and the liberation of the occupied territories, as well as civilians who died as a result of the rocket fire of the Armenian Armed Forces. The Chairman of the Council, Associate Professor Afsun Sujayev said that historical events took place in our country over the past month. Under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Victory Army of Azerbaijan, in response to the provocations of the Armenian Armed Forces, carried out a successful counteroffensive, liberating our lands, which had been under occupation for many years, they went down in history. He stressed that the war should be waged not only at the front, but also in the information space by everyone, from ordinary citizens to the intelligentsia.
Sujayev stressed that Armenia suffered defeat on the battlefield and as a result there is a high risk of provocation throughout the country, therefore, we must take into account the warnings of the relevant state structures and follow the recommendations.
Konul Gahramanova, a young researcher at the institute, made a presentation on “Armenian provocations in the information war”, spoke in detail about the means of combating Armenian lies in social networks.
Speaking about the second item on the agenda, A. Sujayev first spoke in detail about the work done since the establishment of the Council headed by him and the measures taken. Then he said that according to the regulations, the current term of office of the current Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute had expired and the elections of a new Council would take place.
Following the results of the event, the new Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the ICA in the amount of 10 people was elected by open vote. According to the unanimous opinion of the members of the Council, Sabiya Osmanova, a researcher of the Institute, PhD in Chemistry, was elected Chairman of the Council, Konul Gahramanova and Gunay Ismaylova as Vice Chairmen, and Khadija Mammadyarova as Secretary.
