The Institute of Chemistry of Additives held a meeting with distinguished masters and students

Today at  academician A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of  Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences there has been held  a meeting with masters and students, distinguished at the international and national scientific Olympiads and competitions and their scientific  heads. Participants of the meeting were bronze medalist  in  OKSEF-2018 Scholarship Olympiad held in Izmir, Turkey,  silver medalists  in Knowledge Fair in the British-Azerbaijan College, and the participants of the VIII Republican Competition “Scientists of tomorrow”. Academician-secretary of the Department of Chemical Sciences, academician Vagif Farzaliev, welcomed the participants of the event, dedicated to the Day of the youth, February 2 – said that acknowledging the talented young people in the average and higher education institutions and attracting them to the science there is one of the main directions of the politics of Academy leaders. He noted that meetings with students, masters and pupils are regularly held at the Institutes of the Department of Chemical Sciences, including the Institute for Chemistry of Additives: “In recent years, «Sabah» (tomorrow) groups consisting of Bachelors and Masters of high schools have  a three-month practice in a year and implement experimental part of their diploma thesis. Some bachelors graduated from Baku, Lankaran and Sumgait State Universities become masters and then doctors and due to good practice conduct scientific research “.

  1. Farzaliev has noticed that to attract the youth to the science it is necessary to have different kinds of stimulus, to take care of them.

 

The Institute Trade Union leader, Associate Professor Elkhan Isakov and Chairman of  the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Associate Professor Dr. Afsun Sujayev, highly appreciated the outcomes of the graduates and students.

Academician V.Farzaliev congratulated the young people and gave them certificates.
