On the occasion of “March 1 – World Civil Defense Day” at Academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan held an educational event.
G.Dunyamaliev, Head of the Civil Defense Headquarters of the Institute, spoke at the event. He noted that by decision of the General Assembly of the International Civil Defense Organization since 1972, every year on March 1, the member countries of this organization celebrate the World Civil Defense Day as a mass humanitarian event. The purpose of the annual celebration of this day is to draw public attention to the vital importance of this organization, as well as to recognize the work and self-sacrifice of civil defense workers.
Dunyamaliev also spoke about the laws “On Fire Safety” and “On Civil Defense” and enlightened the workers.
Labor protection engineer R.Guliyev gave information on measures to ensure the safety of the institute’s employees. While campaigning against the fire, he told his employees about fire safety measures and said that it is necessary to keep fire protection systems and equipment, including primary fire extinguishing equipment, in good condition and not allow them to be used for other purposes.
