AFSUN SUJAYEV: “FOR THE NUMBER OF REFERENCES, 3 ARTICLES WERE INCLUDED IN TEN SCIENTIFIC WORKS PUBLISHED IN THE CORRESPONDING FOREIGN JOURNAL”
During the past period of 2022, scientists of Academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives (ICA) in prestigious journals of the world with a high impact factor there were published 20 articles, 16 of which are included in the Web of Science, Scopus, and 4 in РИНЦ. According to the executive director of the institute, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Afsuna Sujaev, this indicator is 4 times more than the same period last year. Thus, in the same period of 2021, only 5 articles of ICA scientists were published in foreign journals with an impact factor.
He noted that during the reporting period, these works were cited by world scientists about 300 times.
He also stated that 3 articles published in the Journal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology with an impact factor of 3,642 by the Wiley Publishing House are among the top ten overall articles published in this journal (5, 6 and 7, respectively) in terms of the number of scientific references by scientists world, and 3 more articles entered the first hundred (16, 44 and 95 places respectively) https://exaly.com/author/10024905/vagif-farzaliyev/rankings).
A.Sujayev emphasized that during the reporting period, 104 theses of the institute’s employees were reported and published at various conferences, including 97 in the republic and 7 abroad. The executive director reported that this year, 2 books of employees of the institute were published. According to him, in 2022, 11 invention documents were sent to the Patent and Trademark Center, and a positive decision was received on the publication of 7 invention documents and 1 patent.
