It is no coincidence that this moment, which brings innovation to nature, is celebrated as the New Year. This holiday, which means “new day”, is fully compatible with Islamic traditions.
The Nowruz Holiday is celebrated with special solemnity not only in Azerbaijan, but throughout the East, in the Islamic world, especially in Central Asia, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan.
Nowruz is sometimes associated with the creation of man. That is, as it is mentioned that a person is created from four elements – water, fire, soil and wind, then there are four environments in the Nowruz holiday. Each environment is associated with an element.
