Huseynova Mansura Teyfur gizi, researcher at the laboratory “Analysis and physico-chemical studies of organic compounds and compositions” of academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives (ICA) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan defended her dissertation submitted for the degree of PhD in Chemistry on the topic “Synthesis of complexes of transition elements with carboxyl and mercapto-containing ligands and study as additives”.
In the course of her scientific research, a new method for the synthesis of new metal complexes was developed for the first time, the crystal structure of these complexes was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis together with scientists from the universities of Bartın and Marmara of Turkey, carbonic anhydrase isoenzymes I and II, acetylcholinesterase of these metal complexes in a living organism (AChE) were studied as an inhibitor of butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) enzymes and found that this compound has antiepileptic, antidiabetic and anticholinergic properties and is more effective than a standard narcotic substance.
A young scientist of the Institute Huseynova Mansura Teyfur gizi has received Ph.D. in Chemistry, specialty 2314.01 – Petroleum Chemistry.
We congratulate PhD in Chemistry Huseynova Mansura Teyfur gizi and wish her success in her scientific work!
