The Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad, organized by the World Association of Azerbaijani Scientists, was held in Baku. About 200 scientists, including more than 80 Azerbaijani scientists from 23 countries, took part in the forum.
The Forum was organized to unite Azerbaijani scientists living in different countries of the world and introduce them to local scientists, exchange knowledge and experience, and contribute to the establishment of ties between scientists.
The Forum included plenary sessions on the topic of “The Role of Scientists in the Internationalization of Science and Higher Education in Azerbaijan and the Construction of a Global Academic Network: New Approaches to the Development of Local Universities and Research Institutes.” At the forum, which lasted until September 11, participants made presentations, took part in organized sessions on various topics, and visited Karabakh.
It should be noted that the Forum was held with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, the Ministry of Science and Education, and the State Agency for Science and Higher Education.
