The next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS was held on July 11. By the decision of the Presidium academician Vagif Farzaliyev was appointed as academic secretary of the Division of Chemical Sciences of ANAS. The meeting also considered the issue of new composition of scientific divisions of ANAS. It was noted that the Bureau meeting of each division held elections to the deputy academic secretaries and bureau members and the results were presented to the Presidium. After the discussions, the Presidium approved a new Bureau of Divisions of Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Biological and Medical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.
