Deputy –director of ICA, doctor of science on chemistry, prof. Mirza Movsumzade gave general information about the January 20 tragedy written as a heroic page in the history of our republic.
A representative of the institute noted that the January 20 tragedy was politically and legally evaluated at the initiative and under the leadership of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The event was addressed by the leading researcher of the institute, associate professor Elnara Hasanova. Then the head of the civil defense headquarters of the institute, Colonel-Lieutenant Huseyn Dunyamaliev, who witnessed the tragedy, shared his memories and his views on the events of January 20 in the history of the struggle of the Azerbaijani people for freedom. It was emphasized that these bloody events are a heroic story that demonstrates the courage of our people in the struggle for the freedom and independence.
