Thousands of Android apps have been attacked by a vulnerability with help of which victim messages and files could be stolen. This was reported by experts from TrendMicro in the organization’s blog.
The problem concerns the library, which is part of the android-gif-drawable package used to process GIFs by thousands of Android applications. The gap was fixed a few weeks ago, but many software packages have not yet been updated.
It is reported that all in the Google Play store, there are more than three thousand applications that may be dangerous for users, lenta.ru reports.
