According to the information from the Education Department of the Institute, 3 candidates who successfully passed the exams “Foreign Language” and “Philosophy” in the specialties “PetroChemistry” and “Organic Chemistry” and advanced to the next stage took part in the exam. The chairman of the examination committee was the general director of the institute, academician Vagif Farzaliyev, its members were the executive director, doctor of chemical sciences, professor Afsun Sujayev, scientific secretary, PhD Mehpara Safarova, head of the laboratory “Cutting Fluid Compositions”, Professor Parvin Mammadova and leading researchers, PhD Elnara Hasanova, PhD Veli Kazimov, PhD Malakhat Abbasova. Candidates who answered 5 questions within 2 hours were assessed in the following order: Niftaliev Shahin Rovshan oglu and Hasratli Rahman Ali oglu in the specialty “Petrochemistry” – 40 points, Ismailov Akim Ismatulla oglu in the specialty “Organic Chemistry” – 47.4 points.
