On November 7, 2023, an educational seminar on the topic “Tribological properties of lubricating oils and methods for their determination” was held at Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The scientific secretary of the institute, Associate Professor Mehpara Safarova, who made an opening speech, congratulated the institute’s employees on “November 8 – Victory Day” and gave the floor to Ingilab Ismayilov, senior researcher at the laboratory “Organic compounds with tribological properties.”
Ingilab Ismayilov gave an extensive report on the topic “Tribological properties of lubricating oils and methods for their determination.” He told the seminar participants about transmission oils used in modern engines, the design of a four-ball friction machine, the principle of operation, methods for determining the slip index, crisis load, and welding load.
The scientific secretary, Ph.D. in Chem.Mehpara Safarova, Professor Hagigat Javadova, Professor Parvin Mammadova, leading researchers – Ph.D. in Chem. Yulduz Ramazanova, Ph.D.Elkhan Isakov and Ph.D. Jeyhun Hamidova expressed their opinions and suggestions regarding the speech.
