Mammadova Parvin Shamkhal, head of the laboratory “Cutting Fluid compositions” of academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, is 80 years old. In connection with the anniversary, a meeting of the large Academic Council was held at the institute.
Academician Vagif Farzaliyev, Director General of the Institute, who opened the event with an introductory speech, highlighted the main scientific direction of Professor Parvin Mammadova, that her research is aimed at developing cost-effective, environmentally friendly and low-cost cutting fluid (CF) compositions, studying the chemical composition, structure and the effectiveness of individual components, the development of technology for the production of new lubricants, the organization of their production on an industrial scale and their application at various machine-building plants of the republic. He also noted her successful activities in the field of training highly qualified scientific personnel and the public life of the institute. He congratulated her on behalf of all the staff of the Institute and wished her long life, good health and success in her scientific work.
