The monograph of the Executive Director of academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Afsun Sujayev “The new generation Inhibitors of some pathological processes of living organisms” was published in an elegant format by Elm Publishing House.
In the book, edited by Academician Vagif Farzaliyev, there are described enzymes, their etymology, nomenclature and terminology, classification, structure and mechanisms of action, co-factors and co-enzymes, isoenzymes, enzyme inhibitors, criteria for measuring enzymes, studying enzyme inhibition by molecular docking, the latest literature on antioxidants as the main means of protection against processes, including the main results obtained during international scientific studies on the antioxidant, anticancer and enzyme-isoenzyme inhibitory activity of various heterocyclic compounds synthesized by the author over the past 10 years.
