On June 24, 2024, the defense of the dissertation of the former doctoral student, junior researcher of the laboratory “Physiologically active organic compounds” of academician A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mahmudov Ibadulla Hasan oglu, took place to receive Ph.D. scientific degree in the specialty “2306.01 – Organic chemistry”.
Ibadulla Hasan oglu Mahmudov successfully defended his dissertation on the topic “Pyrazole-, N-benzyl, N-allylaniline derivatives, synthesis and study of their metal complexes” at academician Y.Mammadaliyev Institute of Petrochemical Processes.
The scientific supervisors of the applicant were Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Afsun Sujayev and Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Yusif Abdullayev.
Applicant Mahmudov gave extensive information about the important scientific results he received on the topic. He noted that the new substances synthesized by him had fundamental scientific and applied significance and acted as antioxidants in relation to the oxidation of hydrocarbons, as well as as enzyme inhibitors – isozymes against pathological processes. He answered numerous questions.
I.Mahmudov’s scientific works on this topic were summarized in the “Web of Knowledge” search engine of the Clarivate Analytics agency, and also published in journals with a high impact factor in the USA and Europe, which have a special reputation in the field of chemistry.
The dissertation work was carried out in the laboratory “Physiologically active organic compounds” of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives.
