On May 27, 2019 a scientific seminar was organized at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS. This seminar was devoted to the discussion of the main results of research conducted by the Institute’s dissertators. Dissertators presented interesting papers on topical issues: dissertator of Laboratory of Cutting Fluids Konul Gahramanova with report “Substitution of pesticides with biological means”, dissertator of Laboratory of Fuel Additives Ulduz Jafarova with the report “The acetylene compounds of norbornene series are promising bactericides for oil production” , dissertator of Laboratory of Additives and Compositions of Additives to Transmission and Industrial oils Gunay Ismayilova with the report “Sulfur-containing compounds improving the properties of lubricating materials” and dissertator of Laboratory of Polymers Lamiya Kazimzadeh with report “Three-component polymer of allyl ester of carbonic acid as a viscosity additive to lubricating oils”. Each of the participants made a report on important results, their scientific and practical importance and the possibilities of carrying out their scientific and experimental research last year, and also answered questions from the participants of the seminar.
