The Institute of Chemistry of Additives was awarded the status of “High Scientific Potential” with a national X-index of 17
According to the scientific results of the second quarter of 2023, the international ranking of universities and research institutes operating in the country “Azeri National H-index Ranking-2023” (https://az.h-index.com/az/wos) was announced. To form rating lists, questionnaires of more than 20,000 scientists and specialists and about 150,000 scientific publications were analyzed. As a result, a rating list of the leading scientific organizations of Azerbaijan was determined according to the h-index (H-index), calculated on the basis of the indicators “Web of Science”, “Scopus” and “Google Scholar”. In addition, separate rankings of the top 1000 researchers in the country based on the h-index in Scopus and Google Scholar were published. The information notes that, in general, the scientific activities of 83 scientific organizations and universities of Azerbaijan were analyzed, 10 of them were included in the status of “Leaders of scientific potential”, and more than 20 – in the status of “High scientific potential”. Other research institutions are called “Ranking Participants”. Academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan took 18th place in the rating list with a national X-index of 17. The Hirsch index of the scientific institution is 21 in Web of Science and Google Scholar, 20 in Scopus. It should be noted that the first 3 places in the rating list are shared by the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, the Institute of Physics and Baku State University. In addition, based on the H-index indicators (Google Scholar and Scopus H-indexes), the leaders of scientific productivity in Azerbaijan, as well as the 100 most productive researchers in each scientific organization, were identified. The ranking of the 100 most productive scientists includes Academician Vagif Farzaliyev, Director General of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives, and Afsun Sujayev, Executive Director, Doctor of Chemical Sciences.
