A group of 4th year students of Baku State University (BSU) with a degree in Chemical Engineering is undergoing training at Academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS. According to the head of the Polymer Additives laboratory, Associate Professor Elkhan Isakov, observing the requirements of the quarantine regime announced in connection with the COVID 19 pandemic in the country, university students during a three-month internship in the form of separate groups get acquainted with the principles of the operation of devices and equipment in the laboratories of the institute, modern methods of physical and chemical analysis, closely follow some experiments.
Students also receive information about research work carried out by the institute’s staff in the field of fine organic synthesis and chemistry of additives in priority areas, learn the skills of independent implementation of practical work.
In general 24 students of the Department of Petrochemistry and Chemical Technology of BSU will undergo an internship.
