For 2019, Finland will, within the framework of the strategy for the development of artificial intelligence technology, teach 55,000 people, or 1% of the total population of the country, to basic interaction with the system.

In 2018, about 6 thousand people were given skills to work with artificial intelligence as part of the free monthly course of Elements or AI, held at Helskinsky University. As part of the training, anyone can learn about the principles of the operation of artificial intelligence and understand how machine learning works. The program description states that students do not have to have basic programming skills to complete this course.

Today, 250 Finnish companies have stated that they intend to send all employees to learn how to communicate with artificial intelligence. According to Finnish authorities, studying the principles of AI and machine learning will accelerate the study of the development of innovations in the country and help people navigate modern technology.

Anyone can complete the Elements of AI online course. Training is available in Finnish or English.
