The Gmail mail service received new features for striking out text in a letter that can be found on the formatting panel. Also, Google has added undo and redo buttons, as well as the ability to download a letter along with an attachment in the.EML format, which other email clients recognize.

According to Google, EML format is recognized by other email clients, allowing users to view the Gmail content along with attachments within these clients. These files will include all the contents of an email, along with attachments sent in formats recognized by computers, and access to the download option is done through the sidebar on the writing interface, which also allows sending of Responses.

Besides, with this functionality users can now add these downloaded messages as attachments in their emails. Other changes are like, Gmail has added undo/redo shortcut to perform operations directly from the compose window. This new change will help Gmail for Web users to bring back their accidentally deleted content on the compose view. Earlier, users were able to use the undo or redo actions using keyboard shortcuts.

Undo/Redo is now available on Gmail for web that can be used as an edit suggestion. All of these updates are currently being implemented by Google on the platform’s web interface so you will not find them anywhere in iOS or Android apps.
