Drinking tea immediately after eating has become a habit among people. However, this habit removes iron from the body, which, in turn, contributes to rapid weight gain. This was stated by the Turkish specialist Sinan Akkurt at a press briefing on Friday, reports Medicina.az. He said that iron deficiency is the main reason for weight gain.
According to him, iron deficiency can cause idiopathic fatigue, dizziness, nervousness, heart attacks, headaches, nausea, coldness in the hands and feet. The lack of iron causes anemia in the body:
“From a blood test, it can be said that hemoglobin is below normal, often due to iron deficiency. I must note that people suffering from this can’t easily lose weight, because iron deficiency leads to hormonal disorders, instead of losing weight, it is gaining weight. ”
The expert noted that a diet that is observed by people suffering from iron deficiency and wanting to lose weight is useless:
“Such people can’t lose weight by doing sports. Deficiency of iron also leads to memory weakness, lack of attention and decline of development. “
