Out of 8 new substances sent by colleagues in 2019 and identified in laboratory tests as having a high antioxidant effect for lubricants, in 2020 6 substances with drug potential were investigated for inhibitory effects on various enzymes and isoenzymes together with other foreign colleagues and there was revealed their effectiveness against Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes. One article based on both important scientific results was published in a prestigious foreign journal, and one article is currently in print. At present, various properties of 14 new substances provided by Russian colleagues are being studied – there is being carried out “molecular docking”, associated with their antioxidant, antitumor, isozyme inhibitory activity against hydrocarbon oxidation, as well as against pathological processes on various enzymes.
