Executive Director of academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Afsun Sujayev was awarded “Record in citation” diploma of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). The diploma was presented to him by the President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli at the event “Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences: a new stage and modern tasks” dedicated to March 27 – Science Day.
According to the information provided by the institute, A.Sujayev was awarded for having highly-cited scientific papers. For information, we note that his 130 scientific papers have been published – 1 monograph, 2 patents of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 80 articles, and the rest of the conference materials are theses. 50 articles were published in peer-reviewed foreign journals included in the scientific databases “Web of Science” and “Scopus”. According to the global information networks “ResearchGate” and “Google Scholar Citations”, 60 scientific papers in the field of research have been entered into various international electronic systems and 1386 references have been made to them. The Hirsch index is 21.
