The scientific project carried out by schoolchildren at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives was awarded Honorary Prize in the international competition held in London

Altunay Ibrahimova and Mirshahin Ibrahimov, students of the Kaspi Lyceum, who carried out a scientific project at Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, took part in the International Greenwich Olympiad, organized in London, Great Britain and were awarded honorary diploma.
They conducted scientific research on the topic “Reagent that prevents the evaporation of oil and petroleum products” in the laboratory “Various functional polymer compounds” of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives.
The event, organized by North London Grammar School, attracted 449 students from 134 schools in 48 countries. Participants presented 310 innovative projects in 12 categories, including ecology, engineering, computer science and art.
Lyceum students won 3 silver, 2 bronze and 2 honorary diplomas in different categories.
