The Microsoft portfolio includes not only Windows OS and Office package. One of the software maker’s developments is a proprietary antivirus recognized by AV-Test experts as one of the best on the market. Soon, not only PC owners will be able to use its mobile version – the company will release a mobile version of the application for devices running Android and iOS.
The company has announced that it is preparing a release of the Defender Advanced Threat Protection software solution for mobile operating systems. The list of application features will include features such as preventing the loading of insecure pages and protecting gadgets from phishing attacks. Microsoft Vice President Rob Lefferts has emphasized that “Android and iOS are pretty safe, but malware does exist on these platforms,” 4pda.ru.com reports.
