On March 11, 2020, a meeting in relation with coronavirus which is rapidly spreading in the world was held at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives with the participation of senior executives. According to the decree No. 4 dated March 13, 2020 signed by the director of the institute, academician Vagif Farzaliyev, the institute’s administration was instructed to carry out a number of preventive measures to combat coronavirus: restricting various mass events in the absence of serious need, limiting official business trips of employees to countries where coronavirus is common, applying preferential conditions to attendance of employees’ retirement age, regularly disinfecting at the building, restricting employees with flu-like symptoms from entering work, preliminary medical examinations that will detect cases of influenza infection at the entrances to the institute.
Control over the execution of the decree was entrusted to the Deputy Director for General Affairs Elman Zulfugarov.
