Chemist students of the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (ASOIU) will undergo practical training during the year in the relevant laboratories of Academician A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives (ICA) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In this regard, 28 On November 2023, a meeting with student trainees took place in the assembly hall of the institute.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Free Trade Union Organization of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives, Associate Professor Elkhan Isakov told the students about the history of the institute and laboratories and said that during the practice they would become familiar with the principles of operation of instruments and equipment in the institute’s laboratories, as well as modern methods of physical and chemical analysis, and actively participate in some experiments and apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in real working conditions. It would allow them to experimentally consolidate their acquired theoretical knowledge and skills. At the same time, students would hear reports at seminars on important results of scientific research conducted and achieved by the institute’s staff in priority areas in the field of fine organic synthesis and additive chemistry.
