The activity of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS was restored in accordance with the requirements of the special quarantine regime

The activity of employees of the Institute of  Chemistry of Additives of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences has been partially restored. For this purpose, the director of the institute, academician Vagif Farzaliyev, signed an internal order to ensure the execution of the order of the President of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, “On regulating the attendance of ANAS employees in connection with the expansion of the special quarantine regime in the Republic of Azerbaijan” dated May 4, 2020. According to the order, to ensure functioning  of  the institute during extended quarantine regime with the aim of regulating the attendance of laboratory, department and other services employees under the age of 65, the human resources department determined the number of employees (no more than 30% of the total) and their names were posted on the portal “icaze.e-gov.az”. According to the institute, these employees have already begun working since May 6, 2020.

At the same time, to ensure the special quarantine regime, the working rooms of the institute’s building, in which work was restored, were disinfected, and employees who began to work were given protective masks, alcohol, antiseptic gel and other means.

In case of change in the special quarantine regime established by the state, the list of employees may be revised.

According to the information received from the institute, the special commission was created to monitor the strict observance by employees of the requirements of the special quarantine regime. The control over the execution of the order was entrusted to the chairman of the trade union of the institute, Ph.D. Elkhan Isakov and Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists Afsun Sujayev.
