The Institute of Chemistry of Additives of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences held a scientific seminar on molecular docking, one of the most modern and relevant directions in the world science.
Speaking at the event, Executive Director of the Institute, Associate Professor Afsun Sujayev said that the study was conducted jointly with leading scholars from the universities of Sinop, Marmara and Bartin in Turkey in the framework of the international cooperation. “The results of these studies, conducted by our young researchers, were published in very prestigious foreign journals and for a short time were sited,” he added.
Then the junior researcher of the Institute Mansura Huseynova delivered her report. She conducted detailed X-ray studies of the structure of metal complexes as new inhibitors, synthesized in the laboratory, studied the biological activity of enzyme-isoenzyme inhibitors in relation to pathological processes.
Then the report was widely discussed, and there were answers to questions.
