On December 18, 2018 at the Azerbaijan British College there was organized Fourth Knowledge Fair. Along with the Ecology Department of SOCAR, the STEM training center, the AREA Azerbaijan Robotic Academy, the Institute of Chemistry of Additives also supported the students with its stand. First-year master-students of the institute – Lala Aliyeva, Nargiz Maidi and engineer Mir Ali Isakov showed the students entertaining science experiments.
High-school students who gave interesting presentations on the topic “Processing” also participated in the Knowledge Fair, which was attended by other international schools. The project of pupils of the 11th grade of school No.251 of Nizami district of Baku, Javad Jabrailov and Rasul Jabrailov, prepared with the support of the head of the laboratory “Theoretical bases of synthesis and the mechanism of action of additives” of the institute, associate professor Afsun Sujayev, was awarded a silver medal in the “Ecology” nomination. The winner was awarded a certificate and medals.
Researcher of the Institute Sabiya Osmanova at this competition was involved in project evaluation as an expert.
