The primary territorial party organization of New Azerbaijan Party has been created at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives (ICA) of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) today. The event was attended by chairman of New Azerbaijan Party Yasamal regional branch Tagi Akhmedov, ANAS curator, Ph.D. in Philology Khadija Iskandarli, employees of the institute and active youth.
Opening the event, the director of the ICA first informed participants about the activities of this scientific institution, its contribution to world science and economics, important results and international cooperation. He also noted that the need to create a territorial party organization in the institution led by him arose as a result of numerous requests from the collective. He said that, despite the creation of a territorial organization only now, the ICA and its employees have always been closely connected with the state, statehood, and the party, along with scientific activities, the team has always supported social and political events organized by the government or the leadership of the Academy and will continue to do that in the future.
Speaker Tagi Akhmedov said he was proud that the team had taken such a step and spoke about the successes of the party, the founder of which was the national leader Heydar Aliyev. He noted that the creation of the party which plays an active role in the establishment and strengthening of Azerbaijan as an independent, democratic, civilized state, civil society, was a logical consequence of the current events in our country and the existing socio-political conditions.

Then, the membership of 82 employees were confirmed. Then the board of the newly created organization was elected. The Board openly elected the leading scientist of the institute, Ph.D. in Chemistry Vali Kyazimov as chairman, the head of the laboratory, Ph.D. in Chemistry Elkhan Isakov and researcher Lala Mahmudova as vice-chairmen.
