Xiaomi has created a portable translator of the Mijia series, which will soon go on sale at the price of a budget smartphone. It is reported by Gizchina.
The device is equipped with a 4.1-inch touch screen with full pixels of 357 ppi. A 3000 mAh battery is responsible for autonomy which provides 5 hours of continuous translation, or 19 hours in standby mode.
The translator uses six microphones at once, which supports the reception of sound over a long distance, automatically determining the direction of the speaker. The device recognizes words, translates them and displays them on the screen.
In total, the translator works with 18 languages that are used in 170 regions. In addition, the device is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera – through it you can translate labels. The device also supports the installation of a SIM card and Wi-Fi connection to transfer files to a computer or smartphone.
