At academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives (ICA) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the fourth-year students of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and Baku State University continue their internship.
According to the Public Relations Department of the institute, students divided into groups of 4-5 people in different laboratories get acquainted with the principles of operation of physical and chemical devices and interesting research, are involved by scientists in research work and apply theoretical knowledge in real conditions. This will allow them to strengthen their theoretical knowledge and skills through experimentation.
According to the corresponding action plan, students at the institute participate in laboratory and general institute seminars on modern and urgent topics of fine organic synthesis, chemistry of additives. At the same time, in addition to the topics of the seminar, they are given detailed information about the history of the ICA, directions of scientific activity, achievements, as well as about the outstanding chemists of Azerbaijan who worked in this scientific institution – academician Ali Guliyev and the first woman chemist, academician Izzat Orujeva.
The information also mentions that at the end of the internship, the knowledge gained by students will be tested, and active students will be awarded a diploma and a certificate of leadership of the institute.
