Doctoral students and dissertators of academician A.M.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS will be able to undergo a mid-term internship at the Department of Chemistry of the Middle East Technical University of Turkey. The agreement was reached during the meetings of the executive director of the Institute, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Afsun Sujayev at the university.
According to the Institute, A.Sujaev is on a scientific trip to Turkey from December 23 to 30, 2021. The main purpose of the visit is to expand scientific ties between the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS and the Middle East Technical University of Turkey – to discuss issues such as joint research projects, doctoral studies, post-doctoral training, exchange of experience.
During the meeting with the head of the Department of Chemistry of the Middle East Technical University, Professor Cihangir Tanyeli, the agreement was reached. According to it in 2022 the doctoral student can undergo an internship in the laboratory of organic chemistry for 3-6 months. The parties also discussed and approved the topic of joint research, got acquainted with the laboratory, equipped with the latest instruments and equipment.
