The implementation of joint projects between the Institute of Chemistry of Additives and Turkish universities was discussed

Mansura Huseynova, PhD in Chemistry, Head of the Laboratory for Analysis and Physicochemical Research of Organic Compounds and Compositions of Academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education, and Gunay Mustafayeva, Research Fellow of the Laboratory of Organic Compounds with Tribological Properties, Chairwoman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, were on a scientific mission to Marmara University, Turkey.

First, they met with Professor Ali Rza Özkaya, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry of Marmara University, and provided detailed information about the activities of the institute, the main directions of scientific research, important scientific achievements, and projects implemented within the framework of international cooperation. Then, they discussed the main results of joint scientific research conducted so far and the plan for future prospective work with Professor Bahattin Yalçın of this scientific institution.

The next day, the institute’s employees received information about the research work conducted in the laboratories of Marmara University and new physicochemical analysis devices, their working principles, areas of use, and were introduced to practical examples.

Later, at the invitation of the Vice-Rector of Gebza Technical University, Professor Mahmut Durmus, the employees of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives watched detailed presentations on the scientific development of that university, as well as received detailed information about the advanced research and innovative approaches conducted at the institute. At the same time, an agreement was reached on the implementation of joint projects with the institute and the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions in the future.
