On March 27, 2024, a festive event dedicated to “Science Day” was held at Academician A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
“Science Day” is a holiday of the scientific community of Azerbaijan, established by the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated April 9, 2018. For the first time in 2019, this holiday was celebrated at a high level.
Mehpara Safarova, Scientific Secretary of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry opened the event with an introductory speech and spoke about the great care shown at the state level for the development of Azerbaijani science, the rise of the authority of scientists and science in the country, the achievements of scientists and specialists working in the field of science.
A member of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Majdi Nargiz, gave an extensive report on the history of this day. Senior researcher of the institute Nusrat Aliyev, professor Parvin Mammadova and chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the institute, Associate Professor Elkhan Isakov spoke about the wide opportunities created by our state for the development of Azerbaijani science, the implementation of a number of measures to popularize science in the country, congratulated the youth on this day, and conveyed their wishes.
