MARTYRS OF THE MOTHERLAND!
THE MOTHERLAND AND THE PEOPLE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.
An event on the theme “Martyrs of the Motherland!The Motherland and the people will never forget you“, dedicated to “September 27 – Remembrance Day” was organized at Academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives (ICA) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the assistance of the First Territorial Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) together with the Free Trade Union Organization and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists.
First, to the sounds of the National Anthem, a minute of silence was observed in honor of the bright memory of our martyrs who heroically died for the Motherland.
The opening speech at the event was given by the executive director of the institute, Professor Afsun Sujayev. He said that September 27 went down in our modern history as a heroic and glorious day: “The 30-year-long longing of the Azerbaijani people for Karabakh ended on September 27, 2020. It was on this day that our historic victory began, followed by a one-day anti-terrorist operation on September 19-20, 2023, when territorial integrity was fully restored and we became a de jure and de facto sovereign country. Independence and sovereignty are such a blessing that is not easily given to those who desire it. Our people, with their heroic sons and daughters, liberated our land from occupation at the cost of their blood and lives, in other words, mixed their blood with the soil and made it their homeland. The history written today by our victorious army is a solid foundation for Azerbaijan, which will develop even stronger tomorrow. At the same time, it is an important factor in ensuring sustainable and long-term peace, tranquility and security in the world. region”.
A.Sujayev noted with facts that the Institute of Chemistry of Additives provided assistance during the First Karabakh War and the 44-day Patriotic War in supplying our army with strategic products.
The Chairman of the ICA Trade Union, Associate Professor Elkhan Isakov spoke at the event with a report on the topic “Martyrs of the Motherland!The Motherland and the people will never forget you“.
In conclusion, leading researcher, Associate Professor Nusrat Aliyev and the head of the Civil Defense Forces Huseyn Dunyamaliev made a speech and emphasized the importance of “September 27 – Remembrance Day” and noted that this significant day in the calendar was a sign of great respect for the memory of our martyrs.
