On September 13, 2023, the entrance exam to the doctoral program for the preparation of a doctor of philosophy was held at Academician A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the information of the Department of Education of the Institute, 1 candidate took part in the exam, successfully passed the Foreign Language and Philosophy exams in the specialty PetroChemistry and passed to the next stage.
The chairman of the Examination Commission was the director general of the institute academician Vagif Farzaliev, members were the executive director, Dr.Sci.in Chem., Associate Professor Afsun Sujayev, academic secretary, Ph.D. Mehpara Safarova, head of the laboratory Lubricant-cooling compositions, Dr.Sci.inChem., Professor Parvin Mammadova and leading researcher of the laboratory “Different functional polymer compounds”, Ph.D. Elnara Hasanova. The result of the candidate Gasimov Rahib Zaur oglu, who answered 5 questions within 2 hours, was positively evaluated.
For your information, the topic of the dissertation of Suleimanly Natigi Rahim gizi (Investigation of the process of catalytic oxidation of D-glucose to sorbitol and glucan acid) was accepted into the dissertation program of the institute, and her scientific supervisors were approved (Dr.Sci.inChem., Associate Professor A.R.Sujayev and Ph.D., Associate Professor Yu.A.Abdullaev).
