The research and production practice of students of the Baku State University (BSU) and the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (ASUOI) at academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives (ICA) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan has ended. On this occasion, the Institute held a meeting dedicated to the results of the process.
Academician Vagif Farzaliyev, director general of the ICA, said that undergraduate students in the specialty “Chemistry and Chemical Technology” of both universities were divided into small groups, practiced in laboratories equipped with modern instruments and equipment, and got closely acquainted with scientific research.
In parallel, they participated in laboratory and general institute seminars on modern topics of fine organic synthesis and additive chemistry.
In the end, students who distinguished themselves with their knowledge, skills and exemplary behavior were awarded. Employees of the faculties and departments of BSU and ASOIU presented diplomas and gifts to students.
