On February 23, 2024, an educational lesson on civil defense with non-military civil defense forces was held at Academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Huseyn Dunyamaliev, head of the civil defense apparatus of the Institute, made a broad presentation on command and control points in emergency situations, the main tasks of Civil Defense management, the nature of possible military conflicts, the creation of a management system to ensure the management of Civil Defense, control points, their designations and placement, division control points by groups, types of control points, tasks of the MM communication and warning system, principles of organization and means of warning communication, types of communication – mobile and communication means, type of radio and telephone communications, wired communication means, Civil Defense warning systems, communications at facilities, cities and the organization of notification and activities of the duty dispatcher in the event of an accident caused by the spread of hazardous chemicals.
Security engineer R. Guliyev informed about measures to ensure the safety of the institute’s employees. Speaking against the fire, he spoke about fire safety measures and said that it is necessary to maintain fire protection systems and means, including primary fire extinguishing equipment, in good condition and not allow them to be used for other purposes. The event was attended by unit managers.
