Leading scientists of academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan are gradually expanding the international level of joint research conducted by their colleagues from Ataturk and Bartin University (Turkey) on the topic “Comparative effect of new generation inhibitors that inhibit metabolic enzymes associated with some global diseases.”
According to information provided by the institute’s public relations department, the important results obtained are archived in the Web of Science database in the form of a detailed research article in the Journal of Molecular Structure of the world famous Publishing House Elsevier with Q2 impact factor of 4.06 (Ibadulla Mahmudov, Beyim Ibragimova, Parham Taslimi, Nastaran Sadeghyan, Zeynep Karaoglan, Tugba Taskin-Tok, Yusif Abdullayev, Vagif Farzaliyev, Afsun Sujaev, Saleh H. Alvasel, Ilhami Gulcin, Synthesis, Characterization, Crystal structure, molecular docking and biological research metal complexes of pyrazole Cu, Ni and Co, Journal of Molecular Structure (2024), doi: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.molstruc.2024.138205).
The information notes that the article is devoted to the synthesis of new metal complexes based on pyrazole and their biological studies. As a result of molecular docking studies, it was found that enzyme-isoenzyme inhibitors consisting of these new complexes are selective enzyme inhibitors with antidiabetic drug effects in the treatment of clinical diabetes.
