Today, a regular meeting of the Academic Council of academician A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Azerbaijan Republic took place.
Director of the Institute, Academician Vagif Farzaliyev first of all congratulated Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry, leading researcher at the Fuel Compositions laboratory Nusrat Aliyev and Doctor of Chemical Sciences, principal researcher at the Institute’s Corrosion Inhibitors laboratory, Professor Fikret Mammadov on being awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Free Trade Union Organization of ANAS on the occasion of their 85th anniversary, he wished them success in their work.
The Chairman of the Free Trade Union Organization of the Institute, Elkhan Isakov, presented Certificates of honor to both anniversaries.
Elections were held for the vacant position of head of the laboratory “Patent research, innovation and forecasting of scientific work in the field of organic chemistry”. Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry, Associate Professor Ramazanova Yulduz Boyukaga gizi, leading researcher at the Institute’s Lubricant Compositions laboratory, was nominated for this position.
V.Farzaliyev provided information about Yulduz khanum and said that she had recently successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in technical sciences and that this would be an important step to meet the institute’s need for highly qualified personnel, as well as to encourage young researchers, doctoral students, and dissertation students to become interested in science.
As a result, Yu.Ramazanova was approved by secret ballot for the position of head of the laboratory.
The Scientific Council also discussed the preparation of final annual reports of laboratories and departments for 2023 and gave corresponding instructions.
