Today, a meeting of the Scientific Council of academician A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan took place. The director of the institute, academician Vagif Farzaliev said that a competition for admission to the dissertation research for doctors of sciences in 2019/2020 had been held. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, two candidates submitted documents in the specialties “Organic Chemistry” and “Petrochemistry”. The topics of doctoral dissertations and scientific advisers proposed by each applicant were widely discussed. When choosing the topics of dissertations, the fundamental, theoretical and practical significance of topics was taken into account in accordance with the priorities of the country’s economic development.
By decision of the competition committee, both candidates were admitted to the dissertation research for doctors of sciences.
