Researcher at academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ibadulla Mahmudov successfully completed the course on the “Virtual English Teacher” program, which was organized to improve the academic writing skills of young researchers in English by Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and the Embassy of the United States of America in Azerbaijan as a part of the 2022 Roadmap to Improve International Ranking Performance Related to Scientific Publications and was awarded a certificate.
The first semester of the online course was organized by American trainer Erin Karl in October-December 2022, and the second semester in March-May 2023. In the first semester, 90 young researchers took part, and in the second semester, 50 people with better results were selected. During the course, in addition to listening, reading, speaking and writing skills, academic writing, communication, information exchange and presentation skills were taught.
Young researchers who successfully completed the course were awarded certificates.
