Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS expanded cooperation with the world’s leading scientific publishing houses

Articles of the staff of Academician A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences  and references to them played an important role in increasing the impact factor of “Journal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology” and “Chemistry Select” in 2021. In this regard, the Wiley Publishing House Editors Union sent an official letter of thanks to the Director General of the Institute, Academician Vagif Farzaliyev. The letter says: “Your employees’ contributions helped increase the Journal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology Impact Factor to 3642 and the Chemistry Select Impact Factor to 2109 in 2021. Thank you for your successful contribution to this work. ”

It should be noted that the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS is taking certain measures to accelerate the integration of scientists into world science. Thus, employees conduct information seminars on the use of scientific databases and academic social networks for the preparation of scientific papers in accordance with international standards, as well as the design and publication of articles according to the requirements of journals stored in the world’s archives of leading scientific databases (Web of Science, Scopus). During these trainings, detailed information is provided on the rules of article formatting in accordance with the requirements of prestigious journals from the world’s most famous publishers, such as Elsevier, Springer, Wiley and Taylor & Francis. As a result of this educational activity, the number of articles published by the Institute staff in prestigious journals associated with the aforementioned publishers has doubled in recent years compared to previous years. Namely, 2 articles of employees of the Institute, published in the Journal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, by Wiley, were included in the list of the most authoritative scientific papers among articles of international importance published in this journal and were awarded diplomas.
