Institute of Chemistry of Additives suffered a bereavement

Chief Engineer of the Engine Testing Station of acad.A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of  Additives of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Honored Engineer Baylar Abdullayev died at the age of 84.
Baylar Ibrahim oglu Abdullayev, who played a certain role in the formation of this 55-year-old research institution, was born in 1936 in the Tovuz region. In 1961 he graduated from the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry with a degree in mechanical engineering. In 1959-1964 he worked as a mechanic at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes of Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, in 1964-1967 a group leader in the Department of the Chief Mechanic, studied in full-time postgraduate study at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences. From 1967 to the present, he worked as an engineer, senior engineer, head of the sector and head of the Motor Test Station at acad.A.Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
B.Abdullayev successfully supervised research on the physicochemical and operational properties of additives, engine oils, cutting fluids and fuels developed at the institute, and also conducted operational tests.
In 2015, by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was awarded the honorary title “Honored Engineer”.
The bright memory of the kind and noble man Baylar Abdullayev will forever remain in the hearts of those who know him and every employee of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives, with whom a long period of his life is associated.
