The public organizations operating at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences – the Primary Territorial Organization of Yeni Azerbaijan Party, the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, the Organization of Independent Trade Unions and the Council of Women, have developed a joint plan of scientific and social actions. According to the Institute’s Public Relations Department, the action plan includes awareness-raising seminars of international, republican, and institution importance, scientific competitions to stimulate young scientists and specialists, the efficient organization of leisure activities for scientists and specialists of the Institute, publication of scientific papers and informing about scientific activities and achievements of the ICA, as well as memorial and anniversary events.
According to the Action Plan, there will be held a seminar on the theme “The unity of science, education and industry”, dedicated to the 97th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, an interactive discussion on the topic “Possibilities of applying the ICA patents that can make a real contribution to the economy”. Organization of “master classes” of leading scientists of the Institute in higher and secondary schools, “Evening of Chemistry” in secondary schools, demonstration of entertaining and educational scientific experiments in the framework of the project “Today’s student, tomorrow’s scientist” in secondary schools. A video will be prepared to popularize the scientific and social activities of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives and its individual laboratories.
