The memory of the victims of this monstrous crime committed by Armenian vandals against the Azerbaijani people 30 years ago is deeply remembered by our people. The Khojaly tragedy was a crime against humanity. During the Khojaly genocide, 5,379 people were deported, 1,275 prisoners and hostages were arrested (the fate of 150 of them, including 68 women and 26 children, up to now unknown), 487 people were wounded, 1,000 people were killed. Scalded by fire, 8 families were completely destroyed, 130 children lost one parent and 25 children lost both parents, 613 people were brutally killed, including 63 children, 70 old men and 106 women. Today we will remember these people as the people-winner, we are comforted by the thought that the souls of these people are calm, our victory in the Patriotic War brought relief to the anxious souls of these people. The Patriotic War, which began on September 27, 2020, ended with the brilliant Victory of our glorious Army under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. As a result of the 44-day war, the occupied territories of Azerbaijan were liberated.”
