The Patriotic War, which began on September 27, lasted 44 days and ended with the return of our occupied territories, became the most glorious and bright page of our history, which will be marked with pride by the Azerbaijani people. Because this story, which finished the 30-year Armenian occupation, gave our nation joy that it had not experienced in the last 200 years, and made our citizens proud of the citizens of the victorious country. As a result of the local anti-terrorist operation, which lasted 23 hours and 43 minutes on September 27, 2023, our joy grew even more. Thus, our sovereignty and constitutional system were restored throughout the country.”
Then the young specialist of the Institute’s Council of Young Scientists and Specialists Leyla Vahidzadeh made a presentation “Joy of victory of the victorious country” and showed a video clip dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War – Victory Day.
The leading scientist of the institute, Nusrat Aliyev, shared his views on the historical significance of this day and conveyed his wishes and recommendations to the young generation.
During the event, in his speech, the executive director of the institute, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Afsun Sujayev, spoke about the heroism of the army and the people during the Patriotic War, the care and assistance of the state, which they provided to the veterans of the war. He noted that protecting the Victory was as much an honorable duty as winning it: “This honorable obligation belongs to us and the generations that will come after us. Each of us, as children of this motherland, must closely unite around the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and do everything possible so that the lands of Azerbaijan and Karabakh flourish again,” he added.
