The next educational seminar for young scientists and researchers (masters, doctoral students and dissertators) was held at academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The seminar was opened by Mehpara Safarova, Scientific Secretary of the Institute, PhD in Chemistry.
Sabiya Osmanova, senior researcher at the Institute’s Laboratory of Organic Compounds with Inhibitory Properties, delivered a report on the topic “Synthesis, research and application of amides”. She gave detailed information about the synthesis, research and application of amides, which are topical themes for fine organic chemistry, and scientific research carried out in this direction by one of the well-known scientists of the institute, Sabir Mammadov, and answered questions.
The seminar was also attended by students doing practical work at the institute (4th year students of Baku State University).
